Current Status and Progress

At this stage, the catalog comprises illustration sets from selected editions of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: the 174 illustrations E. W. Kemble created for the original 1885 American edition, together with seven distinct sets produced for German-language editions published between 1898 and 1944. Presented together, these illustrations form a comparative resource for studying visual interpretations of Twain's novel. The catalog is an ongoing project. Future additions may include illustrations from German translations of Twain's other works.
