At this point, only ''Adventures of Huckleberry Finn'' is part of this catalog. Between the publication of the original illustrated edition featuring more than 200 drawings by H. E. Kemble in 1885 and the end of World War II, seven different sets of illustrations accompanied German-language editions of ''Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.''  These illustrations, together with Kemble’s original drawings, are available on this website.  
At this stage, the illustrations from ''Adventures of Huckleberry Finn'' are available in the catalog. The original 1885 illustrated edition, featuring 174 drawings by E. W. Kemble, is complemented here by seven different sets of illustrations that accompanied German-language editions published between 1898 and 1944. All of these illustrations, together with Kemble’s original drawings, are accessible through this website.  


In the future, illustrated translations of additional works by Twain such as ''Adventures of Tom Sawyer'' or ''Life on the Mississippi'' will be added to the collection.

Current Status and Progress

At this stage, the illustrations from Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are available in the catalog. The original 1885 illustrated edition, featuring 174 drawings by E. W. Kemble, is complemented here by seven different sets of illustrations that accompanied German-language editions published between 1898 and 1944. All of these illustrations, together with Kemble’s original drawings, are accessible through this website.
