HF/Hirth

This German translation of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is estimated to have been released in 1920 under the title of Die Abenteuer des Huckleberry Finn. It contained 36 black-and-white drawings by Edouard Hirth (* 1885, † 1980) and was published by Martin Maschler. Marie Schloß (Schloss) provided the translation of the text, and Otto Regel Ltd. printed the version from which the illustrations in this catalog were sourced.
